Love comes when you less expect and in the more unusual places. This happen to Shahzya and David, two amazing people who found each other by the whim of fate. What was not a coincidence was the planning of a colorful and beautiful wedding, choosing some of the most traditional ways of two different cultures.
Their choice was Royal College of Physicians, a stunning venue elegant and traditional Scottish aesthetic where David could cheers during the ceremony with whisky, surrounded of old book of medicine at the library, perfect for Shahzya, who as a doctor could feel al the meaning and history in every step though the corridor until come to her soul mate and can say: yes, I do.
The topic of the day was the naturality and intensity , very present in all the floral decorations dressing the dining room with vibrant colors and wild leaves, without forgetting the cake taht in words of Shahzya “ was the most beautiful cake ever seen”. The bride was dressed with a traditional red lehenga dress, complemented by her bridesmaid with the same bengali aesthetic. It was really awesome to see the people impress on the street when they walk all together to Queen’s Street gardens, followed by David with his kilt, given the perfect contrast that together becomes the best combination. So amazing and unusual that “Tie the Knot” one of the biggest wedding magazines in Scotland, couldn't resist dedicating some pages to the couple.
The whole ceremony was full of laughs, jokes, funny moments and all the good feelings that just come out when you are around the people you love. And never the least with a couple like that, full of good energy and positivity, taking all the events to the next level, grateful for all the people who come from very far away just to share with them their great day. And never forget their special dance, without thinking in protocols or formalities, just having fun and enjoying life.
