Autumn colours in Edinburgh City

Updated: Mar 7

One of the most romantic things about Scotland is Edinburgh in autumn. The city transforms as the leaves turn a rich copper tone, and the soft light delicately outlines the silhouettes of couples in love, falling like the leaves of an old oak tree. This was the atmosphere that set the mood for Katya & Phil’s sweet elopement, a day filled with warmth, intimacy, and deep emotions.

An Intimate First Look

Their day began with a private and romantic moment, where they shared their first look in complete intimacy. With the stunning Edinburgh skyline surrounding them from Calton Hill, a place that holds special meaning for them, they took in the significance of the day, just the two of them. The morning had started with dark skies and heavy rain, making us believe a storm was coming.

An autumn Wedding as Personal as Their Love

But the storm never came. Instead, the clouds seemed to mirror the anticipation in the air, and as they said, "Yes, I do," the sky opened up, welcoming the celebration with golden sunlight. The joy continued at the Cannonball Restaurant, where they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. The day unfolded with heartfelt moments, laughter, incredible food, and, above all, love.

Meeting these wonderful souls and telling their story was an absolute honor. Always, thank you.
